Welcome to St. James Tennis Club
St. James is a small, community-based tennis club located in the heart of The Glebe, Ottawa. Our members are young, old and in-between, and enjoy combining tennis with a relaxed and sociable club atmosphere.
St. James has 4 hard courts, a clubhouse and lights for nighttime play. We offer a range of activities, including individual and group lessons, competitive leagues, club tournaments, and "round robins" where members can just turn up and get a game.
The social aspect of tennis is a big part of St James, and there are a number of special events throughout the season. We also have a strong emphasis on tennis for families and children, including free activities for junior members and a range of lessons and tennis camps. Our professional coaches are committed and energetic, and we have a small team of staff who look after the day to day running of the club. Club management is undertaken by our volunteer executive committee.
In 2008 the official St James season starts on Saturday May 3, until late September although we will continue playing for as long as the weather is good. We hope you join us!
